Transferring Your Existing Site
If you have an existing website and are transferring it over, you would want to follow the steps in a slightly different order:

You will note that when you transfer an existing site to your new hosting account, you change DNS after you copy your site over, not before. Why? So your visitors continue to see your website while you transfer it over. Starting a new site, then you would change your DNS first so people can see your new site sooner.
