Outgoing Mail Settings (SMTP Auth)

This article is helpful if you are setting up your mail for the first time or are having trouble authenticating on outgoing email with Microsoft Outlook 2010 / 2013.

Step 1. From the Menu Bar, Click "File".
Step 2. Click "Account Settings".
Step 3. Select your Email account then Click "Change"
Step 4. Click "More settings".
Step 5. Select "Outgoing Server" tab.
Step 6. Select the box beside "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
Step 7. Select "Use same settings as my incoming email server".
Step 8. Click "Ok".
Step 9. Click "Next".
Step 10. Click "Finish".
